The OPTIMA multi-channel MPPT allows independent control for each channel, accommodating various modules. It serves as a digitally controlled DC to DC converter, integral to solar inverters and power systems. This technology optimizes and precisely manages the charge voltage and current for battery banks, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.
Operational Overview
The MPPT efficiently extracts the maximum power from the solar array and delivers this energy to the system DC Bus. The control of the MPPT also manages the proper charging of the battery that is connected to the DC Bus such that the system inverter can work reliably meet the load. This creates a significant benefit for all systems employing a battery including mini- grids, hybrid and grid-support applications.
